Terms of Service (Sheria na Masharti)

1. Acceptance of Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using the Siraj Islam mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Child Safety Standards, and all applicable laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Halal Marketplace Rules & Prohibited Items

Siraj Islam is dedicated to Islamic commercial ethics (Muamalat). All products and services listed on our platform must be strictly Halal. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Alcohol, intoxicants, tobacco, or pork-derived items.
• Un-Islamic financial instruments involving Riba (interest) or deceptive speculation (Gharar).
• Immodest clothing violating Islamic standards of decency.
• Counterfeit items, unverified pharmaceuticals, or fraudulent goods.

We reserve the absolute right to suspend and permanently remove any vendor violating these Shariah compliance rules.

4. Escrow Payments & Buyer/Seller Protection

To eliminate scams in East African e-commerce:

• Payments made on the platform are securely deposited into escrow.
• Vendors must dispatch genuine merchandise within agreed delivery timelines.
• Funds are released to the merchant only after the buyer confirms inspection, or upon delivery expiration with tracking proof.

5. Darsa, Lessons & Scholarly Content

Islamic audio lectures, Qur’an translations, and fatwa references are curated from certified Tanzanian scholars and authentic Islamic texts. Content is provided for educational and spiritual growth. Respectful community conduct is mandatory in all interactive darsa Q&A forums.

6. Intellectual Property

All branding, software algorithms, UI designs, and audio productions under "Siraj Islam" are protected under Tanzanian and international copyright and trademark laws.
